Once again, Halloween has managed to sneak up on me, and once again, I have absolutely nothing planned to wear. At this point, being last minute might just be a personality trait of mine lol. And with me currently not working, I have to be a little more mindful of how I'm spending my coins. But that doesn't mean I don't want to step out looking cute this halloween weekend! I refuse to spend and arm and leg on an outfit I'm probably only going to wear once. Soooo, whats a baddie to do? GET RESOURCEFUL, DUH!
Ladies, if you're last minute like me, before you go hit Spirit, I suggest shopping in your own closet first. And when I say shop your closet, I mean everybody's closet. Yours, your man's, your daddy's, shit even your mama's! And if you still can't find what you need, head to the thrift, dollar store, oh and Walmart!
I did some scrolling on Pinterest, I've gathered some of my favorite last minute costume inspo that are not only cute but also affordable and easy to recreate.
1. Men in Black
I actually recreated this costume a couple years back. I didn't have to go out and purchase a single thing. I pulled everything straight out my closet! All you need is a black blazer, black mini, white button down, black tie, and some blacked out shades. Don't have a blazer or tie? Go raid your man's or dad's closet. That's what they're there for right? lol And there's always ways to sexy this up, make sure the button up is tight fitted, pop open some buttons, sexy little lace bra, OH and the miniest of mini skirts you have. Easy Peasey! The choice is up to you girlies. For a finishing touch, I created my own M.I.B id badge using canva, i printed it out, and slipped it into and old id holder I had laying round the house. I'll insert images of the badge i created.
2. Barbie
Now beauties, I don't think this one needs much explaining. Put on your girliest, pinkest outfit, grab your fav accessories, and BOOM Hi, Barbie! Seriously, that's it. How fab? One of my favorite things about Barbie is that she can be anything, which means your costume can be whatever you want it to be. A pink mini dress? Barbie. A pink matching set? Barbie. A cute little pink mini with heels? BARBIE! Go through your closet for anything pinkaaaaaa, feminine, and fabulous. Add some lip gloss, pink blush, a cute handbag, and your ready for halloween. If you're lacking in the pink department, a quick trip to the thrift my girls!
3. Missus Jenna Rink
Lets talk 13 Going on 30. I LOVE! Now I noticed that most people usually gravitate towards Jenna's iconic Versace dress. But I had another thought in mind. The nightgown outfit with a cute trench. If you're anything like me, you probably already have everything you need lying around. Grab your cutest little nightgown, throw on a trench, a sleep mask, and cute little kitten heel. It's giving effortless, it's giving nostalgic, and most importantly, it's giving affordable! Oh and for a cherry on top, get an empty disposable coffee cup. PERFECT!
4. Clark Kent/Superman
A little Clark Kent moment, but make it feminine and sexy! For this look, you might have to make a quick trip to wally world or the thrift to find a superman t-shirt, assuming you don't already have one. For there, all you need is a button down, cute lil mini, red tie, and some cute frames. Leave the button down slightly open so the Superman logo peaks through, throw of some cute shoes, and there your have it.
5. Saw
This is for all my spooky but cute baddies! I love a halloween costume that allows you play around with your makeup, and this one is simple but perfect. Grab a white button down and of course we're bringing out the black mini again. You'll also need a red bow tie, which yk where to go!!!! Instead of spending money on special Halloween face paint, take a look in your makeup drawer. An old red lipstick or lip liner can work perfectly for recreating those signature red spiral's on the puppets cheeks. Don't forget to add some dramatic eye makeup, something smokey!
6. Kim Possible
CALL ME, BEEP ME, IF YOU WANNA REACH ME!
Beauties, this one is SO easy, especially if you already own a pair of cargo pants. Add a cute little fitted black shirt. Now, to really pull the look together, find yourself some black gloves, and a utility belt. And just like that, you're ready to save the world girl!
7. Missus Carrie Bradshaw
Now i hope you didn't think I was going to make a costume list without including a little fashion icon, did you? Miss Carrie baby is the perfect costume for my fashion loving beauties because, quite frankly, her entire wardrobe was a costume party waiting to happen. For her classic opening credits look, all you need is a simple tank, a tulle skirt, and your most fab heels. ( Again, the thrift store is your BFF!)
8. Sims Character
I think this might be one of the easiest and most affordable costumes on the entire list. Because guess what? You can wear absolutely ANYTHING. Your favorite mini dress? Perfect. Jeans a cute top? That works too. Pajamas? Honestly, why not? The only thing that makes this costume what it is, is that iconic floating green diamond. I hope you know its time to get crafty! There are many tutorials i found on Pinterest. If you really want to
get crafty and funny, you can be a naked sims and cut come cardboard. (Get on Pinterest girl!)

A little reminder before you spend your coins!
Beauties, I know easy it is to get caught up in wanting the perfect Halloween costume, especially when Pinterest makes everything look so fab. But please remember that you do not have to spend a fortune to look good. Sometimes the best costumes are the ones you put together yourself. The ones that require a little gigging through your closet or finding that one perfect piece hiding on a rack at the thrift.
And there you have it, beauties! A few of my favorite last minute Halloween looks straight from my Pinterest scrolls. Now, I need to figure out which one I'm actually wearing this weekend lol.
Which costume is your favorite? Are you a last minute girlie like me, or have your had your outfit planned since august?
Let me know in the comments!
Stay cute, stay creative, and most importantly, stay within your budget!
